[30413][10009][10019][19900][3] - I'm just about done.
From the looks of things - these problems, when combined in this order - have no fix. Fix being defined by the ability to patch the game without using another system and a giant memory stick. I've encountered this issue with patches 2.2 and now 2.3. I expect many people will face it with patch 2.4 as well when it eventually drops.
Here's everything I know - to help people understand what's happening with this error, as well as explain that, to my knowledge, I've done just about every single thing I can do.
I open up the launcher, enter my details and hit that 'Log in' button. The patching begins at this point, specifically, downloading the patch from Square/Akamai. At this point in the process, before the patcher can determine how long it'll take and how fast the download is going; it seems like things are going smoothly, info is being snagged from the server, and the download bar is progressively filling.
The moment the launcher figures out how long it'll take, however - that time begins to rapidly ascend whilst the speed of download rapidly descends. Eventually I'm staring at 1000+ hours and less than an MB/S.
This happens each and every single time I attempt to use the launcher. No exceptions.
So, what have I done already? I'll write a list, why not?
0 -Used Google's public 8.8.8.8 DNS service.
0 -Cleanly installed the game.
0 -Cleanly installed the game plus Windows itself.
0 -Ran the Launcher in Administrator Mode.
0 -Made sure the install folder is not checked as 'Read Only'.
0 -Removed any malware / spyware / what have you. At the time of writing, I'm a hour out of a fresh install, and I installed stuff from a formatted memory stick just to avoid anything sneaking in.
0 -Forwarded ports; 5499254994,5500655007,5502155040 as listed on SE's support page.

Apparently it can be anything. Malware in the PC (which I doubt on a fresh install), servers just being congested, firewalls blocking the process and I've also see mention that it's because files have an awkward path to follow in regards to going from the Server to the PC.
Is there something I'm missing here? As far as I can tell or see... there is nothing more I can do. Both times I've come here looking for answers nothing is definitively pinned down as the cause and SE eventually just marks the threads as resolved.
I want to play this game- but I quite literally can't.
