90k'd into 2002
Alright SE, this isn't the first time this has happened to me or my friends, and I'm really starting to get annoyed.
As per usual, the 90000 Error happened which Disconnected me from the game while doing a Dungeon, and then proceeded to wait and try to get back into the game 5 minutes later. Then I got hit with the 2002 error and the game promptly exited.
This has been happening for a while now, and people back then were able to relay the issue to the French Routing path. As for my ISP, it's unchanged. But the same thing is happening on different PC's on different ISP's but in the same country (The Netherlands) to multiple friends of mine. Two of my friends have already quit the game due to the connection issues which cause a lot of frustration.
The issues usually resolves itself after a full day, but then happens again within hours. It's even come to a point where I took a 3 day break between the last time it happened and now. Yet, it still happened.
We've all tried reinstalling, port forwarding, removing and adding routers, Swapping from Ethernet to Wi-fi and running the issue by our ISP's. I've even gone as far as to install it on my 5 year old Laptop to see if it wasn't just a hardware failure, which is producing the same error. All of the errors happen at different periods of time, so it's not just some massive outage.
To be totally frank, I'm not sure if I want to renew my subscription like this. It's causing me more frustration than enjoyment at the moment. As you can imagine, having people in the FC complain about DC's and not getting back into the game, as well as having people drop out during Raids etc. is causing a great deal of annoyance.
I've updated all drivers on my PC, everything else internet related is working just fine. Other MMO's work brilliantly without any hiccups, and other online games work just fine as well. Downloading gives me a constant speed for extended periods of time without dips or drops in speed.
I'm on a 150/50 line connection from The Netherlands to the Zodiark server on the Chaos Datacenter. All other Datacenters are accessible to me, and I can play on them without issues. The only reason I haven't swapped to the other Datacenters is due to my Character name and my friends not being willing to give up their Characters or pay to transfer them, while the server should work just fine.
